Services
We're pleased to offer the following services:
General Appointments & Vaccines
We see appointments for healthy pets and preventative health measures to diarrhea, sneezing, limping, etc. The wide variety of experience of our veterinarians have allows us to create an individualized health plan tailored to you and your pet's needs. Your pet's health is our top priority!
Surgery
Our veterinarians and assisting staff have years of experience with surgical procedures. From soft tissue surgeries (such as lump removals or laceration repairs, as well as spays and neuters) to orthopedic surgeries (such as fractured bones or knee repairs), our hospital can serve most needs. To guarantee the best care for your pet, we have board certified surgeons come to our facility for complex surgeries. These procedures are all done in-house, usually out-patient, with the patients generally going home that day or the next.
Domestic & International Health Certificates
Dr. Dhaliwal is a USDA-accredited veterinarian and being so, we are able to issue domestic and international health certificates. Moving internationally or to Hawaii with your pet(s) can be a stressful and tedious process but our manager Mehndi is here to help you make that move. Dr. Dhaliwal handles the medical side of our health certificates such as pre-flight exams, rabies titer testing (FAVN), administration of medications and preventatives and our manager Mehndi handles all the paperwork, including but not limited to: health certificates, FAVN (Kansas State Laboratory), submitting to and receiving USDA APHIS approval, rabies certificates, travel packets and any additional correspondence that may need to be done with the applicable country or state. We pride ourselves on being able to keep your pet's travel requirements done according to the timeline and regulations of the USDA APHIS Pet Travel requirements. We work closely with many clients who have military orders to move and other families who are vacationing or moving. We have successfully sent families to Hawaii, the Philippines, Italy, France, Mexico, Spain, Japan, the Caribbean and from state to state. It is a wonderful feeling being able to keep pet parents and their fur babies together as they move!
Emergency & Urgent Care
Emergencies are accepted as per our availability when our clinic is open. We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle most medical emergencies. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save the pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, animal attack, chocolate ingestion, etc., where your pet is in immediate or life threatening danger. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call. It is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency. There are instances when we cannot help with certain emergency cases and will refer you to a local pet emergency hospital.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our staff will try to accommodate you in between scheduled appointments however it is dependent on our availability. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
