Dr. Jasdeep Dhaliwal, DVM It has been a dream come true to become a veterinarian as it has been a lifelong goal of Dr. Dhaliwal's. He knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age as he always loved helping animals. Dr. Dhaliwal was a veterinary assistant/technician for nine years before he enrolled into veterinary school at St. Matthew's University of Veterinary Medicine in Grand Cayman. Dr. Dhaliwal and his wife have a two year old, dark chocolate Labrador Retriever named Remy, who is their pride and joy. When Dr. Dhaliwal is not at the clinic taking care of your fur babies, he is playing frisbee with Remy and going out with his wife and Remy to try new restaurants. He enjoys playing basketball with his little brother as well exploring new places and gardening.
Shu, Lead Veterinary Technician Shu has been an essential part of our team for the last 32 years! She is an incredible leader and mentor for all our staff. At some point and time, all of your pets have been loved on by Shu. Shu is very knowledgeable in training working dog breeds as she has had many Rottweilers and currently has a Belgian Malinois named Ghost. On her free time, Shu enjoys cooking, camping and gardening!
Mehndi, Practice Manager & Remy, Patient Liason Mehndi is our clinic's practice manager. She has been managing the clinic for the last three years but has prior experience in the human-side of medicine. She definitely prefers working in the veterinary-side of medicine. She really enjoys working with our incredible team every day and conversating with clients and meeting their sweet pets. In her free time, she enjoys trying out new coffee shops and restaurants with Dr. Dhaliwal and their dog Remy.
If you have been at the clinic in the last three years, at some point, you or your pet has probably met our patient liason Remy. Not only is he Mehndi and Dr. Dhaliwal's son, he has appointed himself as the advocate for patients at the clinic. Post-op, during examinations and treatments, Remy always makes sure your pet is being cared for and feels comfortable in our care. He takes his job very seriously, pushing through the reception door to make it back to the treatment area to make sure his furry friends are having a good time!
